About Medipol University
IMU is a private, non-profit university that is initiated in 2009. Joining IMU family started from 2010. The university is holding four different vocational schools covering different fields such as finance, economy, environmental, and medical. In addition, it has 13 faculties offering 71 undergraduate programs, and 24 of the programs are English based. Departments that are taught in English are Nursing, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Medical Science, Engineering and Natural Science, Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Business, Media, Education and College of Health Sciences, Law, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
The total number of international students enrolled to the university is above 30,500 coming from more than 60 different countries. In terms of quality, IMU is considered one of the attractive universities for international students.
The university was found by Dr. Fahrettin Koca, who is the founder of Turkish Foundation for Health Education and Research.
The education in Medipol University is executed on both campuses Haliç and Kavacık in Istanbul, Turkey. On the other hand, few applied science lectures will be held in Medipol Bağcılar campus, which is considered one of the enormous hospitals of Istanbul, Turkey.
